About Dr. Dena DiNardo

Dr. Dena DiNardo was born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She spent her undergraduate career focusing on Communication and Business Studies at The University of Scranton in Northeastern Pennsylvania. After that, she spent several years working with health care benefits before beginning her formal studies in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy and Psychology.

In 2011, Dr. DiNardo graduated with a COAMFTE-accredited Master’s degree in a joint Clinical/Counseling Psychology program at La Salle University.  In 2016, she graduated with an APA-accredited Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College.

Dr. DiNardo’s Professional Career

Presently, Dr. DiNardo owns and operates a private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Psychologist in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia.

Dr. DiNardo works with a blend of clients including individuals, couples, and families presenting with a range of issues including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD.

Dr. DiNardo is a proud member of the American Psychological Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the Pennsylvania Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association.

When she is not practicing, Dr. DiNardo enjoys teaching as an adjunct instructor in the Counseling and Family Therapy Program at La Salle University. Typically, she teaches Systems, Systems Thinking and Ethics, Relationship and Marital Therapy, and Contextual Family Therapy.

At La Salle, she has also functioned as an academic advisor to students working toward their Master’s degree, sits on panels to facilitate Written and Oral Comprehensive Examinations, and is a member of the Marriage and Family Therapy Committee for Student Professional Development.
